Setup BluText

install client on tablet and server on phone

  1. Install BluText Client on the device you want to browse and compose SMS messages on (e.g. tablet).
  2. Install BluText Server on the device you want to send SMS messages from (e.g. phone).
  3. Open the BluText Server.

  4. If prompted to grant permissions, do so.

  5. Set the network password for the server. Remember this password!

  6. Click the “+” to edit the whitelist.

  7. If prompted to turn on Bluetooth, do so.

  8. Check the device that has the BluText Client installed. If you cannot find, it, open Android’s Bluetooth settings and pair it with this device first then try this step again.

  9. Open the BluText Client.

  10. If prompted to grant permissions, do so.

  11. If prompted to turn on Bluetooth, do so.

  12. Select the device that has the BluText Server installed.

  13. Enter the same password you entered back in step 5.

  14. Wait for the messages to sync, then start texting!
